About me
Hello, and welcome to Vroom Fume Vehicle Research! (VFVR, also shortened to Vroom Fume, and Vroom Fume Research).
I'm Ryan, the sole author of this blog. The purpose of this blog site is to document design flaws with vehicle components, my analysis of them, and my recommendation as to what owners should do. As an avid automotive enthusiast and researcher at heart, I decided to start this blog to share my views on these issues and to help people make more informed vehicle purchases and promote proactive maintenance to avoid these problems if possible. The information on this website is entirely based on my personal research into these issues and experiences. My area of interest and expertise falls mostly in defect analysis, including recalls and lawsuits. If you're experiencing an issue with your car and want to learn more about it—or are a prospecting buyer and want to stay away from lemons, you've come to the right place. For now, my focus is writing about engine problems, but I may one-day author articles investigating issues with transmissions and other components. I am a recent graduate from Utah Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Analytics. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for cars, safety, and advocacy. I aspire to become a safety analyst and researcher to make America's transportation safer and more efficient. I aim to help give consumers the voice they deserve and the justice they seek from manufacturing defects and unethical corporate practices from automakers. I am a current member of the Auto Care Association and SAE International. Additionally, I'm expanding my service to assist clients in their next research and/or data project. Whether you're a non-profit, law firm, or anything in between, I can help with your research gathering, data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualizations. To most who are reading this, I'm an ordinary consumer, just like you. Some of the cars I've owned caused me great frustration relating to reliability, and I wish I would have fully known the facts before purchasing. I believe in exposing the truth, whether good or bad, behind the cars on our roads today, and what corporate automaker elites and engineers don't want you to know about them. I am not affiliated with any manufacturer, so I can speak freely and fairly about every issue without company or innovator bias. I also cannot be bought. VFVR's mission statement is to assist consumers in making informed decisions through truth and empowerment. My goal is to help you. Side notes
